1ST: PROTECT YOUR FERTILIZER 
This is to prevent fertilizer from being wasted by rain before your palms absorb the nutrients. You can consider applying under the frond stacking or to do subsoiling especially helpful if you are currently applying fertilizer by broadcasting. 

2ND: AVOID APPLYING FERTILIZER DURING RAINING SEASON 
By studying the historical rainfall pattern in your area, you will know which months are the higher rainfall months. Avoid applying during high rainfall months to minimize fertilizer losses. Advisable to avoid application during months that have rainfall of more than 250 mm/month.

3RD: REDUCE THE NUMBER OF ROUNDS 
With the current labour shortage, it is challenging for plantations to achieve numerous rounds of application. 2-3 rounds per year are realistic and can be comfortably achieved.

4TH: CHOOSE A LONGER-LASTING PRODUCT 
Choose a durable fertilizer product that can withstand in your field for a long time after application and reduce your frequency to apply fertilizer.

5TH: GIVE INCENTIVES TO WORKERS FOR FAST WORK DONE 
This can be a reward system for manuring workers who complete their job with outstanding speed and efficiency.
